TEHTRIS Mobile Threat Defense protects the mobile fleet and scans applications as soon as they are installed and during updates.

Mobile Threat Defense

TEHTRIS MTD is a solution that can be deployed in a simplified way, with features to fight threats at the mobile level. The agent app installed in mobiles can also discover vulnerabilities at the local configuration level. Finally, the technical information fed back from the mobile devices to the central console meets compliance needs, beyond requiring the presence of anti-malware tools on all mobile devices.

TEHTRIS MTD scans applications as soon as they are installed and during updates. Application control (monitoring and alerting) is performed directly from the TEHTRIS XDR Platform console for the client’s operational teams and from the device by the end user. The TEHTRIS XDR Platform Console is the management and monitoring center for client devices with the TEHTRIS MTD application. It provides a quick overview of the alerts raised by the application, their criticality level, the IP address of the device concerned, the number of malware applications present on the devices, the latest security patch for each device, etc. The console is also used to monitor the device’s security status.

This is not an EDR for mobile equipment, but rather a Mobile Threat Defense solution.

That’s not the point. On the contrary, the use of a Mobile Threat Defense solution comes as a security complement beyond the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) part in connection with the EMM/MDM parts. Nevertheless, a possible use case for our solution is to be used on devices that could not be added in your EMM/MDM, in order to add an endpoint layer on this perimeter.

The TEHTRIS MTD application is a cyber security solution to protect your fleet of smartphones, tablets, chromebooks and Android TVs. It is not an EMM/MDM. However, TEHTRIS MTD (Mobile Threat Defense) is managed from a centralized console in Cloud mode. The latter offers a global vision of the security of the mobile fleet. Made available to the customer and its potential mobile administrators or its SOC, it becomes possible to monitor security elements that do not appear in an EMM/MDM. Moreover, TEHTRIS MTD (Mobile Threat Defense) can be deployed with or without EMM/MDM technology, but it is obvious that deployment will be much more automatically achievable with EMM/MDM.

TEHTRIS MTD (Mobile Threat Defense) application is compatible from Android 4 (Jelly Bean, API level 16) to protect a fleet of Android smartphones, tablets, chromebooks and TVs.
