The Windows Enterprise VPN Client establishes a tunnel across a network that is considered “insecure” such as the Internet. It offers advanced certificate management features and support for tokens, smart cards and PKI protocols, allowing it to automatically integrate with any existing PKI. The numerous configuration options allow for flexible custom deployment. The Windows Enterprise VPN Client also comes with personalized support, from dedicated monitoring to support for specific upgrades. The Enterprise Edition does not require any changes to the existing infrastructure (OS, network, IGC) and is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing security policies. The Windows Enterprise VPN Client is sold as an annual subscription. This subscription includes dedicated support and software maintenance.
The main features of the Windows Enterprise VPN Client are:
- TND (Trusted Network Detect) feature that determines if the machine is inside the trusted network based on DNS suffixes and tag identification
- Always-On feature that ensures that the connection security is maintained whenever the network interface changes, for example, between Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G
- Use of Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) to simplify software deployment and update with GPO, offering many installation options to meet all types of integration needs (GUI, certificates, tokens/smartcards…)
- Transmission of administrator logs for the supervision of the company’s network security
