A Graduate of Stanford University and the EMBA of HEC, former auditor of the 40th class of the IHEDN and the first class of the INHESJ, Alain Juillet began his career as an officer in parachute units and then in the action department of the SDECE. He then worked as an executive then manager in French and foreign companies such as Pernod Ricard, Jacobs Suchard, Union laitière normande, and the Andros group, to finish as President of Marks and Spencer France.

He was appointed in 2002 as Reserve Colonel and a graduate of the French Army General Staff.

He was apppointed Director of Intelligence at the DGSE by the President of the Republic, and then in 2003, Senior official in charge of Economic Intelligence for three successive Prime Ministers.  In 2009 he left the administration and joined the Cabinet Orrick Rambaud Martel (maj à Martel non ? si oui vérifier version FR)  as Senior Advisor. At the same time, he was President of the Club of Security Directors of large companies from 2011 to 2017.

Commander of the Legion of Honour since 2010, he is a director of the Altrad Group and a member of the steering committee of four start-ups in new technologies.  He is also a director of the Institut des Hautes Etudes de Sciences et Technologies, and President of the Association de Lutte Contre le Commerce Illicite.

He has published numerous articles and books and teaches strategy, crisis management, and economic intelligence in French and foreign schools and universities.
