Chief Executive Officer of Financière de Brienne from 1993 to 2000, then Founder and Chairman of the Executive Board of ACE Management from June 2000 to December 2019, Thierry LETAILLEUR has acquired 26 years of experience, as a manager, in the field of private equity applied to the aeronautics (AEROFUND I, II, III and IV funds), defense & security (BRIENNE I, II and III funds) and maritime (ATALAYA funds) sectors.
These funds, totaling more than one billion euros, have been subscribed by leading industrial and financial partners (AIRBUS, SAFRAN, THALES, DASSAULT, NAVAL GROUP, EDF, bpifrance, Crédit Agricole, Régions Nouvelle Aquitaine and Occitanie, etc.).
Since 1993, more than 200 strategic companies have been financed in equity by these funds.
Thierry LETAILLEUR previously held positions of responsibility within the Ministry of Defense from 1980 to 1992 (program management, industrial and financial strategy for companies in the aeronautics and defense sector).
In addition to his functions at the head of ACE Management, he was from 2011 to 2016 Chairman and CEO of the Regional Institute for Industrial Development (IRDI) specialized, with its various subsidiaries (300 M€ under management in total), in the financing of industrial companies in the New Aquitaine and Occitania Regions.
Concomitantly with the sale of ACE Management to the TIKEHAU group, Thierry LETAILLEUR created in December 2018 ARGIDUNA CAPITAL, a holding company intended to take equity stakes in technological and industrial companies. In a post-Covid perspective in particular, these companies are part of a logic of rebound and development of their activities through innovation, in key sectors of the economy of the future (energy management, ecological transition, food and responsible agro-industries, cybersecurity, new aerospace, …).
